We're partnering with an innovative software organisation undergoing a major transformation, evolving its product portfolio while embracing an AI-first future.

As Head of UX/PX, you'll play a critical leadership role, owning the experience strategy across a suite of established products while helping drive the transition towards next-generation, AI-powered experiences.

This is far more than a design management role.

We're looking for a hands-on design leader who combines exceptional product design expertise with the ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders and champion outstanding user experiences at scale.

The Opportunity

You'll lead experience design across multiple product areas, ensuring consistency, quality and customer-centric thinking while supporting a business-wide shift towards AI-native products and ways of working.

Working closely with Product, Engineering and senior stakeholders, you'll help shape the future direction of digital experiences while maintaining and enhancing an established product portfolio used by customers globally.

This is a highly visible role with broad responsibility and the opportunity to leave a lasting impact across both people and products.

What You'll Be Doing

• Defining and leading the UX/PX vision across a diverse product portfolio.
• Driving design excellence, consistency and best practice across multiple product teams.
• Leading, coaching and developing a team of designers.
• Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Helping embed AI-driven approaches into design processes and product experiences.
• Remaining hands-on with discovery, design, prototyping and experience strategy.
• Influencing senior stakeholders and ensuring customer needs remain at the centre of decision-making.
• Contributing to the evolution of design systems, standards and ways of working.

What We're Looking For

• Outstanding UX, Product Design or Experience Design credentials.
• A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional design judgement and tangible product impact.
• Experience leading design teams within SaaS, software or technology-driven organisations.
• Strong people leadership skills combined with a willingness to remain hands-on.
• Genuine interest in AI and how emerging technologies are reshaping design and product development.
• Comfortable working directly with engineers and modern AI-enabled tools.
• Naturally curious, resilient and commercially aware.
• Someone who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative product environments.

You'll Stand Out If You Have

• Experience working within complex product portfolios.
• Exposure to AI-powered products, conversational interfaces or intelligent workflows.
• Experience using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar AI-assisted technologies.
• A track record of building high-performing design cultures and mentoring design talent.
