SC cleared GCP Cloud engineer

Senior Cloud engineer | SC Cleared or eligible | 6 month initial contract | £450-500 OutsideIR35 | Remote with occasional onsite

Key requirements:

• Deep experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent).
• CI/CD tooling (eg GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong Google Cloud experience, GKE in particular, and strong Linux systems administration.
• Understanding of secure, hardened deployments and network security, with security-conscious instincts suited to an environment subject to accreditation scrutiny.
• SC Clearance held or willingness to undergo.

Desirable:

• Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, Go).
• Experience in defence, government or regulated environments.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).
• Experience supporting streaming, data or ML platforms at scale.
