Head of Consultancy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (MS Partner) Salary: Up to £95,000 Location: UK Wide (Mostly Remote) Type: Permanent I'm currently working with a well-established Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partner that is looking to appoint a Head of Consultancy . This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Business Central professional who enjoys working directly with customers and wants to play a key role in shaping and mentoring a growing consultancy team. Unlike many Head of Consultancy positions, this is not a role where you'll spend your time in internal meetings and resource management. Instead, you'll remain actively involved in customer projects, leading by example through delivery while providing guidance and leadership to the consultancy function. The Role Lead complex Business Central implementations and transformation projects. Run customer workshops, requirements gathering and solution design sessions. Provide strategic consultancy to clients across the project lifecycle. Mentor and develop consultants within the team. Support pre-sales activities, solutioning and customer demonstrations. Act as a trusted advisor to customers and key stakeholders. Drive best practice delivery standards across the consultancy function. Balance consultancy leadership with hands-on customer engagement. What We're Looking For Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects. Strong functional consulting background. Experience leading workshops, solution design and stakeholder engagement. Previous experience mentoring or managing consultants. Microsoft Partner experience preferred. Strong understanding of finance, operations and supply chain processes. Able to build trusted relationships with customers at all levels. Someone who enjoys remaining hands-on and customer-facing. For one of our leading public sector clients, we are searching for experienced freelance Software Engineers (SC Cleared) to support a major digital transformation programme within the UK Government. You'll join a newly formed team responsible for building and delivering a critical service that enables the secure exchange of tax information. This is a hands-on full stack engineering role focused on AWS-based development, API integration and production delivery. Role Responsibilities: Design, develop and deploy secure, scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services Build and enhance services that enable the exchange of tax information between systems Develop backend services, APIs and integrations using Java and AWS technologies Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from design through to production deployment Work closely with Test Engineers to ensure high levels of quality, automation and service reliability Collaborate with platform, connectivity and legacy system teams to deliver integrated solutions Work within agile, multidisciplinary teams delivering services into Beta and Live environments Requirements Proven experience as a Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer or Software Developer within complex technology environments Strong AWS development experience across cloud-native architectures and services Commercial experience developing applications using Java Experience designing, building and integrating REST APIs and API Gateway solutions Front-end development experience using HTML5 and modern web technologies Strong understanding of software testing, automation and quality engineering principles Experience working within Agile delivery teams and modern engineering practices Experience delivering secure, high-availability production services Previous public sector, government or highly regulated industry experience is desirable Role Details Location: Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle (supplier offices can be utilised) Working Pattern: Hybrid working with 60% office attendance expected Delivery Phase: Beta/Live Clearance: Active SC Clearance Contract: Freelance / Contract SFIA Level: SFIA 4
