Feature Lead - Technology (Corporate Title: Vice President)

The Feature Lead will spearhead the development of shared services for electronic trading within FICC, overseeing the build of eTrading solutions and working closely with trading desks, strategists, and quants across global offices.

• Lead software engineering for eTrading solutions used in market connectivity, price distribution, or RFQ engines.
• Build and maintain D2D, D2C, and bilateral eTrading connectivity.
• Develop FIX trading solutions using Java/Spring.
• Provide L3 support to trading desks and conduct requirements gathering and solution design for new builds.
• Grow eTrading engineering talent.
• Apply in depth knowledge of Credit or Rates eTrading workflows and market structure.
• Debug and profile JDK based languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin, Clojure).
• Implement CI/CD and build toolchains (Maven, Gradle, SBT, Jenkins).
• Design modern RPC microservices using GraphQL and gRPC.
• Develop in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting and network diagnostics.
• Use monitoring, metrics, and tracing tools such as ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Graphite, OpenTSDB, OpenTrace, and Jaeger.
• Implement message oriented architecture with ZeroMQ, JMS, AMPS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Google Pub/Sub.
• Orchestrate processes and containers using Mesos, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Design data architecture for SQL and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB, HBase).
• Apply reactive streams and observables (ReactiveX, Akka Streams, Monix, Spring Reactor).
• Understand machine architecture and natively compiled languages such as C++ and Rust.
• Implement CQRS architecture.
• Work with Scala functional and concurrency libraries such as ZIO.
