Job Role: Sr.Data Analyst (Exp into ETL, Azure AWS GCP)Location: London, UKAbout the Job you are considering:We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support client Business Transformation Programme a largescale initiative modernising core systems processes and data architectureThis role will play a critical part in data migration data quality assurance and business analysis ensuring the accurate and efficient transition of legacy data into new strategic platforms The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders technical teams and third party vendors to deliver high quality compliant and insight driven data solutions within a large and complex financial environmentHybrid working:The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.Your Role:1 Data Migration Data ManagementAnalyse and document source to target data mappings for complex migration activitiesProfile cleanse and validate large datasets from legacy systemsSupport ETL processes and transformation logic developmentPerform reconciliation between legacy and target systems to ensure data integrity and completenessIdentify and resolve data quality issues anomalies and inconsistenciesContribute to data migration strategy sequencing and execution planningSupport testing cycles including SIT UAT and migration dress rehearsals2 Business AnalysisElicit analyse and document business requirements related to data reporting and processesTranslate business needs into functional data specifications and user storiesFacilitate workshops with stakeholders across operations finance risk and ITConduct gap analysis between current and target data models processesSupport development of business data definitions data dictionaries and lineage documentationAssist in defining data governance frameworks and controls3 Data Analysis ReportingAnalyse large datasets to generate actionable insights supporting decision makingDevelop dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel PowerPoint or similarPerform trend analysis and data validation for financial products eg savings bondsEnsure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirementSupport audit and compliance requests with accurate data extracts and documentation4 Stakeholder Programme SupportCollaborate with cross functional teams including architects developers testers and business SMEsAct as a bridge between business and technical teams ensuring clear communicationProvide data expertise to support programme governance and decision makingContribute to risk identification and mitigation related to data migration and integrityYour Skills:Essential SkillsStrong experience in data analysis within large financial services organisationsProven track record in data migration programmes legacy to target systemsExcellent knowledge of SQL for querying and analysing large datasetsExperience with data profiling cleansing and reconciliation techniquesStrong business analysis skills requirements gathering documentation stakeholder engagementUnderstanding of data modelling concepts logical and physical modelsExperience with ETL tools or data integration processesProficiency in Excel advanced and industry standard analytics toolsFamiliarity with data governance data quality frameworks and controlsDesirable SkillsExperience working on core banking or savings platformsKnowledge of regulatory frameworks eg FCA PRA GDPRExperience with cloud data platforms Azure AWS GCPExposure to Agile Scrum delivery methodologiesExperience with metadata management and data lineage tools Data EDOPersonal AttributesStrong analytical and problem solving capabilitiesHigh attention to detail and data accuracyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast paced transformation environmentProactive mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.We are a Disability Confident Employer:Capgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government's Disability Confident scheme.
