Job Description

If you're looking to take an exciting new direction with your HSBC career, an internal move can open the door to many opportunities, allowing you to take on a new challenge, and develop your skills. Bring your knowledge of our brand to a new role and grow yourself further.

We are seeking an AI Platform Programme Manager

In this fantastic role, you'll lead delivery of the Group AI Agent Platform roadmap, partnering across regions and functions to turn AI capabilities into reliable, repeatable services with the right controls, governance and operational rigour.

If you like shaping outcomes, unblocking teams, and making enterprise-scale delivery happen, this is a great opportunity.

A move across the business allows you to continue to access tailored professional development opportunities, and our fantastic benefits packages.

In this role, you will:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the Group AI Agent Platform roadmap (scope, plan, milestones, dependencies, outcomes).
  • Run delivery governance and cadence (SteerCo, RAID, status reporting, decision logs) with clear exec-level updates.
  • Coordinate cross-team delivery across engineering, architecture, data/AI, security, risk and controls-removing blockers and aligning priorities.
  • Control scope, schedule and budget, including vendor/partner delivery where applicable.
  • Lead delivery assurance (quality gates, release readiness, cutover planning, post implementation stabilisation) and ensure audit ready documentation/evidence.

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills:

  • Extensive project/programme management experience.
  • Proven delivery of complex technology platforms in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong planning & execution: integrated plans, critical path, dependency management, benefits tracking.
  • Strong delivery governance: RAID, financial tracking, reporting, and senior stakeholder management.
  • Working knowledge of cloud/platform engineering and SDLC (APIs, CI/CD, environments, release management) to engage credibly with engineers.

Being open to different points of view is important for our business and the communities we serve. At HSBC, we're dedicated to creating diverse and inclusive workplaces - no matter their gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation, socio economic background or age. We are committed to removing barriers and ensuring careers at HSBC are inclusive and accessible for everyone to be at their best. We take pride in being a Disability Confident Leader and will offer an interview to people with disabilities, long term conditions or neurodivergent candidates who meet the minimum criteria for the role.
