Location: East Sussex
Salary: £40,000 to £46,000

A well-established architectural practice is seeking a Senior Architect to join its team in East Sussex. The studio works across residential, education, and healthcare sectors, with a strong commitment to sustainable design principles. This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, clients, and contractors, with a particular focus on residential and mixed-use developments.

• Take the lead in preparing and delivering technical design packages for cladding remediation and building retrofit schemes
• Develop and manage detailed Revit models, drawings, and associated technical documentation
• Ensure all design outputs align with the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 and relevant regulations
• Coordinate technical information with external consultants and specialist subcontractors
• Identify potential technical and compliance risks, proposing effective solutions where required
• Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and statutory bodies throughout all project stages

• Qualified Architect with up-to-date ARB registration
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Experience delivering cladding remediation, façade improvements, or refurbishment and retrofit projects
• Excellent technical expertise, particularly in construction detailing and risk management
• Good understanding of Gateway processes and BRPD-related responsibilities
• Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex design information
