IT Support Engineer (SC Cleared)

Role: SC Cleared IT Support/Desktop Engineer

Location: Carterton (onsite)
Contract: ASAP - potential for long term extension

The Role

You'll be supporting a secure IT environment, responsible for maintaining day-to-day IT services across a central hub and surrounding sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and updating support tickets in line with SLAs
• Handling hardware triage and break/fix for in-warranty devices
• Managing IT stock and asset tracking (scan in/out, life cycle)
• Supporting device deployments and locker replenishment
• Coordinating with vendors for parts and returns
• Ensuring processes are followed within a secure, regulated environment

• Active SC Clearance
• Experience in desktop support/IT support/EUC
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (eg ServiceNow)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process

• Long-term contract within a secure government environment
• Great entry/continuation within defence IT (MOD exposure)
• Stable, structured role with clear expectations
• Opportunity to build experience in secure infrastructure environments
