Our Operations Academy Programme

As an Operations Trainee, you'll join us on an Academy Programme that offers a fantastic introduction to the world of asset management. As part of our busy global Operations team, you'll spend three years working with different areas of the business - it's the ultimate Finance grounding. You'll see the big picture, watch your role evolve, and build your foundation for your future Schroders career. And you'll do it all with full support and training over the next three years.

In addition to building valuable on-the job experience, you'll work towards a Level 3 Certificate in Investment Operations. You'll learn from experts in the field and gain functional knowledge and develop your communication and organisation skills. Rest assured that you'll have a mentor who will support you throughout the programme, plus access to experienced colleagues. You'll also be part of our Investment 20/20 programme, which means you can network with other trainees (and apprentices) industry-wide, and participate in training, socials and insight events.

Ultimately, we can teach everything you need to know - you just need drive, passion and enthusiasm.. More important are an inquisitive nature; good communication skills; team spirit; and an organised approach. We're open to applications from all backgrounds, but you must be at least 18 years old by 29 November. However, there will be a second intake to the Operations Academy programme in 2022.
