Frontend Developer

Fostr is an International eCommerce Agency specialising in Shopify Plus. We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan and deliver the frontend development aspect of client projects
• Build responsive Shopify themes using the Slate theme framework
• Work closely with our UI/UX designers to translate design prototypes into a fully functional Shopify theme
• Clearly communicate technical solutions to team members
• Create technical Shopify theme documentation

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Frontend Development role
• Strong HTML, CSS, Javascript skills
• Good knowledge of jQuery, GIT and CSS frameworks such as CSSWizardry Grids
• Ideally some previous experience of creating Shopify themes using Slate (or previous experience working with Woocommerce and/or Magento)

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in an Agency
