Sharepoint Developer Job description The Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Developer to work within a skilled team to create latest generation SharePoint online applications which form part of our enterprise information management project. Responsibilities Leading the development of fit-for-purpose solutions on the SharePoint platform Provide technical input into system architecture / design Configure development and test environments and building proof of concept demonstrations. Support the implementation and continual improvement of the company application Undertake all responsibilities and tasks in accordance with project charter, policies, strategies, processes and procedures Responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end impact assessment, development, test and implementation of live changes across IT services to ensure minimal disruption to live service. Provide help and advice for end-users as well as other team members Assess change requests and conduct impact assessment Proposals for enhancements and change requests Continuous promotion of best practice use the application and business readiness activities Liaise with 3rd support parties when required The Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience Essential Extensive proven experience of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint online development. Expert level knowledge of the SharePoint App model, Azure and standard web development frameworks and tools, Office 365 is essential , Expert level knowledge of (url removed), MVC, Web API, JavaScript, Typescript, JSOM, .NET CSOM, REST and common JS libraries. Experience of working with Agile software development methods The ability to understand business requirements and provide creative and practical technical solutions Takes responsibility for quality, completeness and accuracy or work Able to communicate at all levels, relay key issues and understand third party interests This role is an immediate requirement for approximately 3 months until December 2016
