Permanent, full-time Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administrator role based in Derby, East Midlands Hybrid flexibility considered Salary £35,000-£45,000 DOE plus benefits

What you will be doing

As a Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administrator, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable IT solutions while supporting ongoing security compliance and digital initiatives.

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including user lifecycle, MFA, and Conditional Access policies
• Support and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance
• Manage Azure cloud resources and ensure security best practices are followed
• Configure and support Microsoft Purview data governance and compliance controls
• Participate in security incident response and vulnerability management activities
• Contribute to digital transformation projects and continuous improvements in IT infrastructure

What we are looking for

We seek a dedicated professional with hands-on experience in administering Microsoft cloud technologies, complemented by a proactive approach to security and process improvement. The right candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a passion for technology innovation.

• Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure environments
• Knowledge of security and compliance solutions, including Microsoft Purview
• Understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300) are desirable
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
• Security-minded, with experience supporting vulnerability remediation and security controls

The candidate for this role must be a UK citizen with no dual nationality due to security requirements. You will also be required to undertake and maintain a relevant security clearance.
