Senior OCVS Platform Engineer - 12-Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Hybrid (Bradford, 3 Days Onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Senior OCVS Platform Engineer to support a large-scale Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS) transformation programme, migrating thousands of virtual machines from on-premises infrastructure into Oracle Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale migrations from on-premises VMware environments to Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS)
• Design and configure hybrid cloud environments using VMware HCX
• Manage VMware infrastructure including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T, and OCI networking
• Perform VM migrations, network reconfiguration, and re-IP activities with minimal business disruption
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide technical leadership throughout the migration programme

Key Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS) or similar VMware cloud platforms
• Expertise with VMware HCX, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX-T
• Experience delivering large-scale VM migration programmes to public cloud
• Strong networking knowledge including OCI FastConnect and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Automation and Scripting experience (Terraform desirable)
• Excellent stakeholder management and enterprise migration experience

• Duration: 12 months
• Day Rate: Negotiable

• Location: Hybrid - Bradford (3 days onsite per week)
