Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Are you a Cloud Engineer interested in new technology and trends with a strong track record in Cloud Infrastructure Support and Deployment? Would you like to be part of a growing Managed Services team?
We are building a close-knit team focused on AWS and Azure cloud platforms. The work is a mix of operational third line support and project work, requiring flexibility to move between different technologies and configurations daily. You will contribute to technical documentation and sometimes participate in on call rotations, which include additional pay.
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Deep expertise in Windows Server environments (OS build, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) from design to deployment and support
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices, including Terraform, CloudFormation, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automation and scripting (PowerShell or Bash), configuration management, cloud identity and access management, monitoring, observability, and containerisation (Kubernetes and managed services)
- Good general knowledge of networking, load balancing and firewalls
- Good general knowledge of SAN storage technologies
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills; ownership of complex incidents to customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the ability to speak with clients
- Experience producing and updating high standard technical documentation
- Experience working within ITIL, particularly change control

Pay Range
£44,700.00 - £57,300.00
