A Prescription Administrator/Receptionist works as part of the practice team supporting clinicians in the management of both acute and repeat prescriptions. Liaising with patients about their prescriptions and ensuring patients records are up to date, accurate and processed in a timely manner. The post is part time and working days will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 6 hours each day starting at 8:30am.

Job responsibilitiesAs the first point of contact for prescription/medication related queries you will ensure the highest quality of care regarding patient medication. Duties will include answering medication queries, processing prescriptions, allocating medication reviews, promoting online ordering and use of electronic prescriptions, drug monitoring, completion of patient tasks and review of clinical letters.
A calm manner and methodical approach is important. You will have access to patients medical records and confidentiality is of the upmost importance.
