• A degree or equivalent qualification, or at least 4 years' relevant experience in digital projects
• At least 2 years' experience delivering digital programmes and managing externally funded projects
• Strong planning and project management skills
• Excellent organisational abilities with the initiative to prioritise effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications
• A proven team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Lead and support innovative digital projects such as the Digital Surge Programme and Digital Venture Capital Fund, ensuring delivery aligns with strategic objectives
• Engage with local businesses, social enterprises, and education providers to identify digital support needs and promote development opportunities
• Develop and implement initiatives like digital grants and skills development programmes to boost digital capabilities across the Borough
• Manage external funding applications, oversee project monitoring, and ensure compliance with funder requirements
• Collaborate with regional partners on infrastructure developments like broadband and Smart Districts, helping shape the Borough's digital future
• Represent the Council at strategic meetings and foster strong partnerships across the public and private sectors
