Technical Services Manager

Salary: Up to £75,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join the management team of one of London's most prestigious mixed-use developments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the technical operations for a premium estate, ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of all hard FM services across a complex, high-profile environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Estate Manager, you will be responsible for the operational performance of all mechanical and electrical services, leading specialist contractors and driving best-in-class technical service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the delivery of all hard FM services across a premium mixed-use estate.
  • Leading and managing M&E service partners to achieve high performance standards.
  • Ensuring statutory compliance across all building systems and engineering services.
  • Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and reactive maintenance.
  • Monitoring technical performance, identifying improvements and driving operational efficiency.
  • Supporting lifecycle planning, asset management and capital projects.
  • Managing technical budgets and service contracts.
  • Building strong working relationships with occupiers, stakeholders and the wider estate management team.
  • Promoting a strong health, safety and compliance culture across the estate.
About You

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical building management and hard facilities management within a commercial, mixed-use or high-end residential environment.

You will ideally possess:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Technical Services Manager or Hard FM leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
  • A thorough understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety legislation.
  • Experience managing specialist contractors and service providers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • An engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) is desirable.
  • IOSH, NEBOSH or similar health and safety qualification would be advantageous.
