Role Summary
Equiniti is seeking a Pensions Administrator to work within a new team responsible for delivering Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) services to its clients and customers. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience in the pensions industry, ideally in Bulk Purchase Annuities and/or defined benefit pension scheme administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide buy in and buy out administration services to customers, working to agreed targets.
- Put the member experience at the heart of every transaction we support.
- Interpret and apply trustee membership movements to the insured population during buy in administration.
- Complete and check casework and provide feedback.
- Resolve customer enquiries (oral and written).
- Collate and escalade trustee and client enquiries (oral and written).
- Draft non standard correspondence in response to customer and client enquiries.
- Collate and analyse data and produce routine reports.
- Perform and issue pension calculations, including manual calculations.
- Check and review trustee's pension calculation during buy in administration.
- Carry out projects and ad hoc activities as determined by the team leader.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
- The ability to develop positive and productive working relationships.
- Computer literate with a willingness to learn a variety of systems.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Previous experience of defined benefit pensions is preferred.
- Knowledge of bulk purchase annuities is desirable.
- Proven track record of quality, timely delivery.
