Purpose of the Role
Design, develop and improve software using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Deliver high quality software solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and optimised for performance.
- Collaborate cross functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and stay informed of industry technology trends.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Administration and configuration of Jira and Confluence from a customer perspective.
- Writing JQL queries for data extraction and insight generation.
- Problem solving, incident response and handling at all levels from triage to remediation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with administration and configuration of Jira and Confluence.
- Proficiency in writing JQL queries.
- Strong problem solving and incident response skills.
- Experience as a point of contact for stakeholders across functions.
Preferred Skills
- Groovy scripting.
- Atlassian certifications.
- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, EC2, Chef, Deployment Tools, and GitOps.
