Job Overview

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Technical Specialist to support the London area (Wokingham, Berkshire, United Kingdom). The role involves supporting and promoting the CARTO 3 system in the cardiovascular field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support, promote and upsell CARTO 3 procedures and thereby grow catheter utilisation in electrophysiology, aligned with the business plan.
  • Provide clinical and technical expertise for coverage of cases performed with the CARTO 3 Navigation System.
  • Deliver a customer training plan and effectively transfer knowledge to empower customers to use the Biosense kit effectively and independently.
  • Follow mandatory training and attend local and overseas training programs to maintain and develop the knowledge required to fulfil the role.
  • Execute key marketing strategies, including the successful roll out of new products and innovations in partnership with the regional New Technology Specialists.
  • Contribute to developing innovative activities to achieve sales targets, gain market share, and differentiate the franchise from competitors.
  • Maintain and develop firm business relationships with key opinion leaders and other strategically important clinical and economic partners.
  • Develop an in depth understanding of the needs and objectives of customers at all levels-both clinical and non clinical-to develop tailored solutions that improve sales.
Qualifications

The role requires the following:

  • Proven experience as a clinical support specialist or physiologist within the medical device and/or electrophysiology field.
  • 3D mapping experience preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to build positive relationships quickly.
  • Capacity to gain in depth product and procedure knowledge and communicate it effectively to all partners in the EP lab setting.
  • Self disciplined, organised, and able to take ownership and responsibility for business objectives and personal time management.
  • Initiative taking with a desire to succeed in a fast paced role.
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial analytical mindset, with the ability to positively influence thinking and behavior.
  • Training in advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Full & clean driving licence.
