Data Analyst - Risk Data Excellence
Location: Birmingham & Edinburgh • Salary: £44,901 - £49,890 • Hours: Full time • Working pattern: Hybrid (at least two days per week on site)

Play an integral role in helping the Bank develop its data and AI capabilities. Your work will support better customer outcomes, effective risk management and innovation across the Bank. Join the Risk Data Office where you will partner with colleagues across Risk, Change and Technology to ensure data impacts are understood and managed effectively as new products, processes and platforms are introduced.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Data Side of Change (DSOC) process across Risk.
- Guide change teams through governance requirements for a wide variety of data change initiatives and identify risks of non compliance.
- Produce management information and reporting for data forums and Risk committees.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a governance or change related role.
- Interest in data and its role in supporting business outcomes and future AI capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Good communication and partner engagement skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong working relationships.
- Proactive and curious approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing competing priorities.
- Experience in data, analytics, governance, risk, controls, operations, change delivery or project support (non essential).
- Experience supporting governance, assurance or oversight activities.
- Experience with governance tools such as Collibra, ServiceNow or similar platforms (non essential).
- Experience supporting change initiatives or impact assessments (non essential).
