Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Devices Team, undertaking a wide range of administrative tasks.
  • Act as the focal point of contact for HCT staff regarding the servicing and repair of medical equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for disparate teams; arrange meetings and take meeting minutes.
  • Support database management and maintain records of medical devices and service schedules.
  • Communicate with clinical teams, external contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in health and safety compliance and contribute to an environment that upholds patient safety.
Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE standard or higher.
  • Educated to BTEC ONC level or higher in a technical subject.
Experience
  • Significant administration experience in a similar role.
  • Previous working experience and knowledge of database management.
  • Experience coordinating maintenance and repairs for disparate teams.
  • Understanding of the role played by medical devices in safe patient care.
  • Knowledge of types of medical devices used within community health services.
  • Arranging meetings and taking notes of meetings.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to manage complex issues, research and investigate and challenge information.
  • Ability to communicate with clinical teams at all levels and external contractors.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database use.
  • Problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Good telephone manner, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work to agreed levels of standard and output.

Compensation

£25,760 to £27,476 per annum pro rata.
