The D365 Functional Consultant will drive an enterprise digital transformation programme from the Manchester office on a hybrid, permanent basis. The role focuses on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio to solve business challenges through innovative technology. You will join a growing CRM team, working closely with stakeholders to shape how these tools are adopted across the organisation. Responsibilities include delivering impactful digital solutions and influencing the strategic use of AI capabilities. This position suits a professional passionate about applying Microsoft technologies to real-world business problems.
Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering solutions using Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
- Configuring and implementing applications using a low-code/no-code approach.
- Managing your own portfolio of change from discovery through to deployment.
- Working closely with business stakeholders to improve processes and customer experience.
- Acting as the technical lead for your solutions, resolving issues and providing expert guidance.
- Championing best practice, governance, data quality and continuous improvement.
- Supporting users, encouraging adoption and helping maximise the value of Microsoft technologies.
- Keeping up to date with the latest Microsoft innovations and identifying opportunities to introduce new capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant or Power Platform professional with a passion for delivering business value through technology.
- Experience delivering solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Copilot Studio.
- Gravitas to challenge and influence.
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience translating business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Collaborative approach with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Azure DevOps experience desirable).
- Passion for AI, automation and continuous improvement.
- Microsoft certifications and ITIL knowledge desirable but not essential.
