About the roleWe're looking for a Service Designer to join our Service Design and Digital Adoption team within the Transformation service at North Yorkshire Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and improvement of services that impact thousands of residents.
You'll work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, supported by experienced senior colleagues and a manager who is committed to your development and progression.
You'll help teams understand people's needs, map how services work now, spot where things are difficult, and test better ways of working before changes are made.
As a Service Designer, you will:You'll play an important role in delivering change, while building your confidence and skills within a well established and supportive team.
About youWe're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about service design and eager to develop their career.
You may already have some experience in service design or similar user-centred design roles.
You do not need to know everything already. What matters is that you are curious, thoughtful, comfortable working with uncertainty, and able to turn what you learn from people into practical improvements.
