  • Contribute to the architecture, scalability, and ongoing lifecycle management of a growing enterprise GCP estate, ensuring resilience and performance at scale.
  • Build and evolve centralised observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Operations Suite) to maximise uptime and reduce mean time to resolution.
  • Partner closely with security teams to embed shift left practices, integrating IAM, network controls, and governance into engineering workflows.
  • Support and mentor engineers across the team, contributing to code reviews, clear documentation, and fostering a high trust, collaborative engineering environment.
Essential Qualifications
  • Proven experience designing, deploying, and running enterprise scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands on experience with Terraform and automated pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or ArgoCD to deliver and manage infrastructure at scale.
  • Strong background running production workloads in containerised, microservices based environments.
  • Data driven approach to reliability, using modern monitoring and logging tooling to protect performance and availability.
  • Strong communicator with experience working cross functionally and supporting or mentoring other engineers.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Professional level certifications such as Cloud Architect, Cloud Security Engineer, or Cloud DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with complex GCP networking setups, e.g., Shared VPCs, Private Service Connect, Interconnects.
  • Exposure to tracking, analysing, and optimising cloud spend across engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with API management (e.g., Apigee) and core concepts like secure routing, traffic control, and OAuth/OpenID Connect.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary plus bonus
  • 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 additional days
  • Birthday off and an additional 3 days of annual leave after 5 years of service
  • Well being and mental health benefits including the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover, and dental insurance
  • Matched pension contribution up to 10%
