• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions
• Manage code using Git, ensuring efficient version control and team collaboration
• Deploy and optimise cloud based services on AWS or Azure for scalability and performance
• Design and implement backend systems using Java, Python, or Go
• Use Docker for containerisation to standardise deployments
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery processes
• Write clean, well documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and foster continuous improvement
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
• Proven experience working with Git in collaborative environments
• Hands on experience deploying and managing cloud solutions on AWS or Azure
• Strong skills in Java, Python, or Go programming languages
• Knowledge of Docker and containerisation techniques
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly within fast paced settings
• Security clearance suitable for working on sensitive projects
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration tools
• Familiarity with web security principles and best practices
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
