Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

CNC Machinists Wanted - Precision Engineering
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Halesowen.
This is a hands-on role within a busy machine shop, manufacturing high-precision tooling and dies for the forging industry. We're looking for an engineer who is confident programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
The Role
- Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
- Produce one-off and small batch precision tooling and dies.
- Work from detailed engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
- Create, edit and optimise CNC programs using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
- Select tooling, set machine offsets and prove out new programs.
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping.
Machinery
Experience with any of the following machinery would be advantageous:
- Skymaster
- Kiheung
- Correa
- Bridgeport
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Experience using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience machining precision components to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Able to work independently and as part of an experienced engineering team.
