Service Delivery Manager

Kingsmead Office, London

£47,319 per year

40 hours per week

Temporary position for up to 12 months

We have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team based in London. Key responsibilities include the effective management of the caretakers and grounds maintenance staff to ensure that the correct level of suitably trained and experienced resources are available on site to meet the requirements of the associated statutory legislation such as Building Safety and compliance requirements at all times. Effective resource and workload planning, quality assurance through regular audits, and maintaining documented records.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working to deadlines, prioritising workloads, be IT competent and possess strong leadership skills with a solid understanding of multi trade activities and health and safety standards.

The role of Service Delivery Manager will include:
  • Overseeing the cleaning and grounds maintenance of properties, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard
  • Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money e.g. efficient use of materials
  • Maintaining compliance for health and safety, ensuring this is promoted and adhered to
  • Handling complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations
  • Working with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritised and completed in an efficient manner
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the customer is our main focus
Skills and experiences:
  • To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates must be qualified to ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership), NVQ Level 3 in any trade or currently undertaking the qualification. Candidates must bring original certification verifying proof of their qualifications; copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
  • This role will involve driving on company business; drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
