Profile
A successful Infrastructure Engineer should have:
* Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu) and Windows Server.
* Production virtualisation experience (Proxmox, VMware or Hyper-V).
* Software-defined/clustered storage (Ceph, vSAN or comparable).
* SQL Server administration including Always On AG/Windows failover clustering.
* Enterprise networking (Cisco or equivalent): VLANs, vPC/LACP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
* Scripting and automation (Bash and PowerShell).
* Monitoring/observability tooling and structured incident response.
* Typically 3-5 years in a hands-on infrastructure or 3rd-line role.
Desirable* Ceph at production scale, Docker/containers, NVIDIA GPU/CUDA exposure.
* Genuine interest in AI infrastructure and on-prem inference.
