Responsibilities
  • Manage study delivery, including screening, recruitment (obtaining informed consent), delivering interventions, follow ups, data management, and sample collection and processing across all specialties and settings.
  • Travel within South Yorkshire to support research studies in Secondary Care, Primary Care and Wider Care settings.
  • Act in accordance with Good Clinical Practice, research governance legislation and the Data Protection Act.
  • Contribute to leadership and management of the research delivery team, undertaking supervision, mentorship and staff reviews to identify training, development needs and performance objectives.
  • Apply and adhere to Host policies and procedures in all activities.
Qualifications
  • Experience delivering both commercial and non commercial research studies.
  • Knowledge of legislative frameworks governing safe and effective research delivery.
  • Clinical skills required for research: phlebotomy, EGC recording and sample processing.
  • Desirable experience: Commercial Research Delivery with IMP administration, mental health, community/district nursing, dementia support and prisons.
Additional Information

The role is community based and requires a flexible approach, excellent planning and time management skills. The position is employed through Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust with the operational base at Sheffield City Centre, Wizu Workspace, 32 Eyre St, Sheffield, S1 4QZ.
