React Developer | Legacy Modernisation

Contract | Outside IR35 | £400 per day | Fully Remote | Initial 6 Months

I'm working with a technology consultancy that is looking for an experienced React Developer to support the modernisation of a large enterprise application for one of their end clients.

The platform is a long-established, business-critical application built using Objective-J and the Cappuccino Framework. The next phase of the programme is focused on gradually migrating the Front End to React.

The client isn't expecting someone who's spent the last five years writing Objective-J. They're looking for a strong React engineer who is comfortable understanding an existing Objective-J/Cappuccino codebase, making changes where required, and helping drive the migration to React over time.

• Strong commercial experience with React
• Excellent JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Experience working on large enterprise or Legacy applications
• Experience modernising or migrating Legacy systems
• Exposure to Objective-J, Cappuccino or similar Legacy Front End technologies

• £400 per day
• Outside IR35
• Fully remote
• Initial 6-month contract
• Strong potential for extension
