Role Summary

The PMO Lead is a key driver of governance, risk management, and delivery excellence across the Risk Intelligence Engineering portfolio. The role partners closely with Portfolio, Programme, and Project Managers to ensure robust oversight of delivery performance, resource optimisation, financial control, and alignment with LSEG Group standards.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Portfolio, Programme and Project Managers to identify, assess and actively manage risks across multiple key portfolios.
  • Ensure compliance with LSEG Group standards for governance, risk management and delivery controls.
  • Drive proactive risk mitigation strategies and raise critical issues when required.
  • Track and manage the portfolio pipeline, keeping demand and supply data current.
  • Enable effective workforce planning and resource optimisation across the portfolio.
  • Support prioritisation decisions by aligning resource capacity with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of high quality portfolio status reports.
  • Provide senior management with timely insights on portfolio progress, key risks and issues, scope changes and resource impacts.
  • Lead the annual portfolio budgeting process and conduct regular financial reviews.
  • Track and report on key financial metrics, ensuring cost control and value delivery.
  • Establish and maintain a holistic view of portfolio health.
  • Implement frameworks to track, measure and reduce delivery risk at programme and portfolio levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Develop and manage the portfolio change roadmap and implement change management processes and best practices.
  • Oversee the work of three PMO Analysts, including hiring, onboarding, and people development.
  • Support capability development through training, coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Foster a high performing delivery culture.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in PMO, portfolio, programme or project management within a complex technology or engineering environment.
  • Proven ability to manage portfolio level governance, risk and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting and performance tracking.
  • Expertise in resource management and capacity planning.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing change and driving process improvements.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring or managing delivery professionals.
  • Career stage: Manager.
