Our client is a small, growth Fintech lending business that seeks an experienced Fractional CFO to work closely with the Board and CEO. This is a hands on, leadership role within a resource constrained, entrepreneurial environment, requiring an individual who can operate strategically whilst remaining closely involved in day to day financial operations.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the business through its next phase of growth, assisting Board members in developing a strategic partnership strengthening the company's balance sheet, maintaining financial controls, and providing strategic, financial leadership and insight to help steer the organisation.

The Desired Candidate
- Proven Finance Director or CFO-level experience within financial services, lending, specialty finance, fintech, or similar environments - ideally fintech or challenging banking environments (regulated FS).
- Demonstrable experience managing complex balance sheets.
- Experience working directly with Boards and senior stakeholders. A highly collaborative working approach is important.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic decision making.
- Ideally previous involvement in strategic partnerships, funding partnerships, or institutional lender relationships.
- Experience leading and developing small finance teams in high growth or resource constrained businesses.
- Comfortable operating in a hands on capacity where strategic and operational responsibilities sit side by side.
- Successful track record of fundraising for privately owned businesses, including debt and/or equity capital raises.
