What we are doingWe are investing in the capacity needed to deliver secure, resilient and sustainable digital services. This includes supporting the transition to SharePoint Online, improving information and records management practice, strengthening information governance assurance and helping colleagues realise the benefits of Microsoft 365 in a safe and well-governed way.
The opportunityWe are looking for a Senior Information Governance Officer to join a small, supportive and highly skilled IG team. You will provide senior-level advice and practical support across data protection, FOI, records management, information risk, assurance and digital change.
We are looking for someone who can bring practical information governance expertise, sound judgement and a collaborative approach to a busy corporate service. You will be confident working with legislation and guidance, but equally able to translate complex requirements into clear, usable advice for colleagues.

LocationHIS supports hybrid working, with staff working between home and office locations as required. The role will involve working with colleagues across Scotland and may require attendance at offices for team, project, stakeholder or in-person meetings.
