Role: Line Auditor & Calibration Technician

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum
The RoleWe are looking for a thorough and detailed individual to join our Quality team in this hands on role. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring that the inspection capabilities of all manufacturing technicians and inspectors meet the required standards for a no fault forward methodology. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the calibration system within the manufacturing and assembly areas.
You will ideally be an experienced component inspector from a low volume precision engineering background. Experienced in batch machining with the diligence to audit the inspection work carried out by both manufacturing technicians and inspectors. You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that all technicians are capable of inspecting work correctly, using the right equipment.
The role holder has the autonomy to adjust and refine the audit plan as needed, making changes to the scheduled plan in response to findings or operational priorities.
Problems encountered are generally routine in nature, with solutions often drawn from personal experience or the knowledge of colleagues.
The variety of issues that may arise requires logical thinking and a methodical approach to reach effective resolutions.
