We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer to help shape the future of how our business works. This role is all about turning operational challenges into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable value. The role involves designing, building and supporting automation solutions that reduce manual work, improve accuracy and increase process efficiency across the Fred. Olsen group. Success relies on working with business teams to understand and solve problems, using tools such as RPA, low-code/no-code platforms, APIs, workflow automation and AI-assisted development to create secure, well-documented and supportable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and support automation solutions using RPA, low-code/no-code platforms, and AI-assisted technologies.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand operational challenges and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Apply process mapping, requirements gathering, testing, and business handover best practices.
  • Integrate solutions with modern integration and data technologies such as APIs, webhooks, JSON, SQL Server, Dataverse and Cosmos.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and supportable within the Fred. Olsen group.
Qualifications
  • Hands on experience in Microsoft Power Platform, RPA, document processing, OCR, Azure AI services or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Strong track record in designing, building, or supporting automation, workflow, or low-code solutions in a business environment.
  • Solid understanding of process mapping, requirements gathering, testing, and business handover.
  • Comfortable working with modern integration and data technologies such as APIs, webhooks, data transformation, JSON, SQL Server, Dataverse and Cosmos.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable automation that drives operational value.

This is a Full Time, permanent position working 35 hours per week at our Head Office (Fred Olsen House, 42 White House Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5LL). The role offers a hybrid work pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
