We're looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of our Banking Book Subledger transformation programme, leading modern technology initiatives at scale while partnering with engineering, architecture, finance and business stakeholders.
To be successful as a Technical Delivery Lead, you should have experience with:
Deep technical leadership across Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, distributed systems and cloud native architectures, with the ability to lead technical design and delivery decisions across complex engineering environments.
Leading large scale SAFe Agile Release Trains as a Technical Delivery Lead, Release Train Engineer or similar, including PI Planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, delivery governance and driving predictable outcomes across multiple teams.
Delivering complex enterprise transformation programmes with strong stakeholder management skills, including governance, RAID management, executive communication and collaboration across Architecture, Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance and Control functions.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience within Banking Book, Subledger, General Ledger, Accounting Controls, Treasury, Product Control or Finance Reporting environments.
Knowledge of data and integration architecture, including financial data platforms, reconciliation processes, event sourcing, APIs, ETL pipelines, messaging platforms and large scale data transformations.
A strong engineering excellence and DevOps mindset, including automation, CI/CD, test automation, release management, engineering metrics, code quality and continuous improvement practices.

This role is based in Northampton.
PurposeFacilitates and coordinates Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure that multiple teams within a program are aligned and delivering value efficiently. To manage dependencies, remove impediments, and oversee the planning and execution of Program Increments. Foster collaboration across teams, ensures alignment with business objectives, and drives continuous improvement in large scale Agile environments.
