Packhouse Coordinator - Chichester
The Job
This opportunity is to join a fast paced fresh produce operation, supporting the day to day running of the packhouse while ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate production activities
- Monitor performance
- Support team members, and help drive continuous improvement across the operation
- Hands on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy production environment and enjoys leading by example.
- Hours: 48 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends as required

The Candidate
- Previous experience within a packhouse, food production, manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Experience coordinating or supervising operational teams
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and numerical ability
- Computer literate with experience completing production records
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Flexible to work rotating day and night shifts
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
- Forklift licence

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
