Packhouse Coordinator - Chichester

The Job

This opportunity is to join a fast paced fresh produce operation, supporting the day to day running of the packhouse while ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate production activities
  • Monitor performance
  • Support team members, and help drive continuous improvement across the operation
  • Hands on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy production environment and enjoys leading by example.
  • Hours: 48 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends as required

The Candidate
  • Previous experience within a packhouse, food production, manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Experience coordinating or supervising operational teams
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail and numerical ability
  • Computer literate with experience completing production records
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Flexible to work rotating day and night shifts
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
  • Forklift licence
