Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications across the front end, back end, APIs, and data integrations.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of features from technical design and architecture through development, testing, and deployment.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Partner with Platform and DevOps teams to enable reliable deployments, strong system observability, and efficient CI/CD processes.
  • Champion code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, contributing to engineering standards and design principles across the team.
  • Actively contribute within an Agile Scrum environment, supporting sprint planning, solution design, estimation, and delivery.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using logs, monitoring, metrics, and tracing tools.
  • Influence technical direction and architectural decisions to shape the future of our platforms and products.
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting engineering excellence.
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience designing, building, and supporting full-stack applications within cloud-native and/or SaaS environments.
  • Strong expertise in modern front-end frameworks, ideally React, and component-based development.
  • Solid back-end development experience using C# and .NET frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, API design best practices, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or another major cloud provider, including managed services and database integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release automation practices.
  • Experience implementing automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, data modelling, and performance optimisation.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles.
  • Experience with containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Cloud Run, Kubernetes).
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills using logs, metrics, traces, and profiling tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across engineering, platform, and delivery teams.

  • Birthday off plus 3 extra days after 5 years of service
  • Wellbeing and mental health benefits (e.g., Calm app), medical, critical illness cover, dental insurance
