Role Summary:

Due to strategic growth and ongoing projects, our Client is seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer holding SC (Security Check) clearance. This role is central to deploying complex, secure software solutions that uphold national security standards. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated full-stack applications supporting secure government systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions on time and within scope.
• Lead architecture activities to establish robust, scalable, and secure software frameworks.
• Integrate open-source components and ensure seamless system interoperability.
• Write, review, and maintain detailed technical documentation for APIs, code, and deployment processes.
• Support and troubleshoot deployed software within live environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Contribute to agile development cycles, participating actively in sprint planning and reviews.
• Implement and promote DevOps practices, including containerisation with Docker and automation pipelines.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Holds or is eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
• Proven background in full-stack application development using at least two Back End technologies, such as Java and Python.
• Extensive experience with modern Front End frameworks, particularly React and vanilla JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and API design.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
• Practical expertise in secure DevOps practices and containerisation technologies (Docker).
• Demonstrated ability to specify, build, and test complex software solutions with clear documentation.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English, capable of sharing technical concepts clearly.
• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience working within government, defence, or security sectors.
• Knowledge of GPU architectures and artificial intelligence integration.
• Familiarity with scaled agile (SAFe) or similar frameworks.
• Possession of UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
• Advanced architectural modelling skills using a range of industry-standard tools.
