Your Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Process Developer within a busy and successful Process Development Team in Bristol.
Development Work
- Work as part of a Project Team to design, develop, test and release new processes on our Business Process Platforms.
- Work with stakeholders from across the Business to design, develop, test and release amendments to existing process/applications on our Business Process Platforms.
- Work closely with internal clients to analyse Business Requirements to enable the development of new and existing Business Processes, improving efficiency.
- Review and update applications built within our Business Process Platforms to ensure efficiency, quality, security and adherence to internal standards.
- Ensure new and existing Business Processes are documented to our high internal standards and handed over to relevant support teams.
- Develop and maintain reports and management information for both internal and external clients across our platforms.
- Work with external software developers as required to support, develop and test system/applications owned by the IT Process Development Team but outside the Business Process Platforms.
Team Working
- Work as part of a self managing Agile team following TLT's Scrum process.
- Collaborate with teams across IT when creating processes that integrate with other systems/applications.
Standards
- Work within the firm's internal change management procedures.
- Adhere to all internal development processes and standards.
- Complete system changes outside standard working hours as required to ensure continuity of service.
Training / Support
- Provide support and assistance to Business Users and IT Teams for our Business Process Applications and other IT Development Applications.
- Respond to requests quickly and efficiently while managing the expectations of our internal clients.
- Train and support less experienced Process Developers on our systems/applications, acting as a buddy when requested to ensure they meet internal standards.
- Continue to improve technical knowledge by completing training.
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience or practical knowledge of Workflow and Business Process applications.
- Experience working on an Agile team.
- Practical experience and knowledge of JavaScript.
- Practical experience in the development and amendment of T SQL queries.
- Analytical and methodical approach to work.
- Experience working on projects and being an active member of a project team.
- Driven and proactive.
- Good communicator.
- Experience with the following services would be an advantage:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Microsoft Power Platform
- Microsoft Power BI
- Agile/Scrum and Azure DevOps
- CSS / HTML / PowerShell
