My client is seeking an experienced Lead UX Designer with excellent Service Design and User Research experience to work on a high level strategic housing solution project, which is vital for providing security and stability to many vulnerable families.
The role
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Oversee a team of 3, including a User Researcher and a Service Designer, ensuring effective and collaborative delivery of the project.
- Strategic Design: Design and enhance both offline and online service experiences, considering physical interactions and accessibility for users without digital access.
- User Research: Conduct workshops and focus groups to gather insights and shape future service designs.
- Service Development: Develop end to end journeys for early prevention and family pathways, and design future customer experiences for families.
- Collaboration: Work closely with experts in user experience and design to influence future service strategies.
The candidate
- Experience: Significant experience in UX, Service Design, and User Research, particularly within education, local councils, or government sectors.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and inspire a team, driving high quality outcomes.
- User Centered: Strong understanding of user centered design principles, with experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Innovative: Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.

Salary: £80,000 + excellent pension scheme.
