In this role, you will carry out high-quality MET duties while acting as the final line of defence for quality assurance in the workshop. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring every vehicle meets safety standards, driving workshop excellence, and ensuring we deliver an unrivaled customer experience.

Core Responsibilities
  • Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET):Efficiently dismantle damaged vehicles ahead of body and paint repairs and meticulously reassemble them to pre-accident condition.
  • Mechanical & Diagnostics:Remove, repair, or replace mechanical and electrical systems, suspension components, and non-structural body panels. Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment to identify faults, interrogate on-board computers, and calibrate ADAS systems.
  • Quality Control (QC) Sign-Off:Conduct rigorous, detailed quality control inspections on all completed vehicles across the workshop, ensuring paint, alignment, and finish meet flawless standards before hand-over.
  • Compliance & Safety:Follow technical repair manuals stringently, ensuring every vehicle meets roadworthiness, manufacturer safety guidelines, and insurer standards.
  • Customer Experience & Liaison:Act as a technical bridge between the workshop and front-of-house, ensuring clear communication regarding repair quality and timelines to uphold our commitment to unrivaled customer service.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience:Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally with an ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent portfolio of experience).
  • Quality Control Mindset:Previous experience in a dedicated QC role, or a senior technician with a reputation for flawless work and a commitment to high safety standards.
  • Technical Savvy:Strong knowledge of modern vehicle diagnostic tools, hybrid/electric vehicle systems (EV awareness is a bonus), and ADAS calibration.
  • Attention to Detail:Exceptional precision, strong communication skills, and a process-driven mindset.
What We Offer
  • Time Off:20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Future Planning:Company pension scheme (Nest)
  • Environment:A well-equipped workshop with a welcoming, supportive team culture and opportunities for ongoing technical training.
