Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and values-driven professional to join our Inclusion Team. The Equity and Inclusion Lead is a pivotal strategic role, working in partnership with schools, settings and multi-agency colleagues to promote and embed inclusive, equitable and high-quality educational practices across Monmouthshire. You will play a central role in shaping a coherent, consistent and preventative approach to understanding and managing behaviour, promoting wellbeing and inclusion, to ensure that all children and young people-particularly the most vulnerable-can access and succeed in education within their local community. This is a unique opportunity to lead system-wide improvement, working closely with schools and partners to reduce exclusion, strengthen inclusive practice, and build capacity across the education system.

SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year. i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers

Location: County Hall (Rhadyr - Usk), NP15 1GA, United Kingdom. This may change in the future if the service location needs to relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens.
