Main duties of the job
- Deliver high quality workforce data analysis, reports and insights to support organisational decision making
- Extract, integrate and analyse data from multiple systems using tools such as SQL, Power BI and ExcelDesign
- Design and develop dashboards, visualisations and data products to support projects and programmes
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice and solutions on complex data and analytical challenges
- Translate complex data into clear, accessible insights for a range of audiences, including senior leaders
- Plan and prioritise analytical work to meet deadlines and respond to changing business needs
- Ensure compliance with data protection, information governance and organisational policies
- Support workforce strategies and improvement programmes through evidence based analysis
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver impactful insights

Person Specification Qualifications
- Educated to masters level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience working at a similar level
- Evidence of advanced data analysis and technical skills (e.g. SQL, Excel, BI tools)
- Demonstrable commitment to continued professional development
- Relevant certifications in data, reporting or database tools (e.g. SQL, Microsoft technologies)
Experience
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large, complex datasets and identifying key trends
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI) and data extraction tools such as SQL
- Proven experience leading, coaching or managing a team in a data or analytical environment
- Experience producing clear, actionable insights and reports to support business decisions
