On behalf of NatWest, we are looking for a Project Manager for a 6 Month contract based in Edinburgh, Manchester or London (1 or 2 days per week in office).

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a high-profile transformation programme within the People function. This role will focus on delivering end-to-end change initiatives across digital engineering and HR technology, driving innovation and enabling the successful launch of a new in-house technical proposition.
  • The successful candidate will lead complex technical implementations, working closely with stakeholders across HR, Technology, Risk, and Governance functions to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of change and transformation projects across the People function.
  • Manage technical implementation activities for a new internal platform supporting hiring, performance management and career progression.
  • Deliver projects focused on automation, digitalisation and process simplification.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors and strategic partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage project plans, budgets, milestones and reporting.
  • Support change management activities including communications, training and adoption.
  • Prepare high-quality papers and updates for forums, committees and senior stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical deliverables and work with engineering teams to drive implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, risk and control frameworks.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience delivering end-to-end project and transformation programmes.
  • Strong technical implementation background.
  • Experience working within large, complex organisations.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience with governance processes and delivery tools such as JIRA and Planview.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and reporting skills.
  • Previous experience with NatWest and knowledge of internal governance processes.
  • Experience delivering HR technology implementations.
  • Exposure to ATS, CRM or HR systems.
  • Workday implementation or optimisation experience.
  • Understanding of model risk and governance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting digital engineering or people technology initiatives.
