About the role and team

Role: AWS Migration Specialist (Cloud Engineer)
Focused on the cloud infrastructure underpinning the migration. Responsible for ensuring the AWS environment is correctly architected, scalable, secure, and cost efficient - the platform the data team builds on top of. Key contact if the engagement pursues AWS MAP co funding to offset delivery costs.

What you'll be doing
  • Assess and remediate the existing AWS infrastructure configuration
  • Ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and cost optimised
  • Own networking, IAM, and AWS native service configuration
  • Act as the primary contact for any AWS co funding or MAP programme engagement
  • Work closely with the Architect and Data Engineers to align on infrastructure needs

  • AWS infrastructure: VPC, IAM, S3, EC2, EKS, networking
  • Migration tooling and cloud cost optimisation
  • Security and compliance in regulated environments
  • Platform-focused rather than data-focused; complements the Data Engineers
  • Experience working within Igaming or Gambling organisations

This role is Hybrid and requires 2-3 days per week on site in Manchester.
