We have an exciting fixed term - 15 months opportunity for a motivated and dedicated project administrator to support our EPR implementation. The successful candidate will have significant experience in administration.

The successful candidate will also provide comprehensive, efficient and effective support to members of the EPR implementation team and have strong organisational, prioritisation and planning skills.

This is a demanding and busy role, requiring the Trust values and standards of behaviour to be demonstrated and the responsibilities of the job description and person specification met.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK to be successfully appointed. This role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa, therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the EPR implementation leadership team to support the administration of the system implementation and ensure an effective and efficient service to all project members.

Job duties include:

  • Provide administrative and organisational support for the EPR programme and related work streams.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all internal and external enquiries about the programme and its work streams.
  • Maintain and update the information libraries and databases across the programme, providing summary reports as required.
  • Organise governance meetings.

Qualifications
  • Diploma/NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration, or Level 3 plus willingness to achieve Level 4 within 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above.
  • ITQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • ECDL advanced level or equivalent.
Experience
  • Significant experience in office administration or programme/project support.
  • Experience initiating and maintaining office systems and document management.
  • Experience preparing agendas, taking minutes, maintaining action logs for formal meetings.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams.
  • Experience organising meetings using conferencing facilities (e.g. MS Teams).
  • Experience working within an NHS or healthcare environment.
  • Experience supporting a programme or project management office.
  • Experience using a procurement/purchasing system (e.g. Cardea, Oracle, ERIC).
  • Experience using a risk/issue management system (e.g. Datix).
Knowledge
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and associated legal and policy requirements.
  • Knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and ability to undertake tasks adhering to procedures and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of programme/project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP).
  • Knowledge of NHS governance structures and reporting requirements.
  • Awareness of NHS EPR or digital programme environments.
