Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Infrastructure and Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security and performance of our hybrid IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, support and continuously improve a diverse infrastructure spanning cloud, on premises and hybrid platforms.
  • Maintain high performing networks, servers and systems that support business operations, working closely with managed service providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Own and contribute across technologies including routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, cloud networking, server administration, identity and access management, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery.
  • Provide third line technical support, investigate complex issues, identify root causes and help deliver continuous improvements that enhance resilience, security and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers in a regulated environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Extensive hands on experience across multiple enterprise infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows and Linux server environments, network security solutions, Active Directory, automation and scripting tools, and modern endpoint management platforms.
  • Relevant certifications in networking, cloud and infrastructure technologies highly valued.
