AI Founding Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid 3+ days per week in office)

Salary: Competitive (£70k-£100k) depending on experience

Assuric is an AI-powered compliance platform for healthtech and healthcare, enabling companies to meet essential requirements quickly.

• Own and scale our core AI architecture including agentic workflows, embeddings, and low latency chat backing several core product features.
• Build secure, high availability infrastructure while meeting high engineering standards.
• Design observable and maintainable AI tooling and evaluation processes.
• Work across the stack - backend, frontend, AI DevOps.
• Drive new product features end to end from idea to deployment.
• Collaborate closely with founders on product strategy, technical direction, and customer feedback.
• Contribute to culture and early technical processes.

• Strong full stack engineer comfortable at a fast paced startup.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js and GCP.
• 2 3 years minimum proven industry experience building production systems - ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Minimum 1 year experience working on a production AI product.
• Strong proficiency with AI coding tools and bias toward agentic workflows and DevOps.
• Experience with backend system design; preference for GCP (Vertex AI, Firebase).
• Bonus: experience with compliance heavy domains (healthtech, fintech, security).
• Strong judgment, high agency, and comfort with ambiguity.
